Spiked Eggnog

The quintessential, waist-unfriendly drink of holiday celebrations... a beverage people either love, or love to hate.

Ingredients

  • Ice (optional)

  • Store bought eggnog

  • 2 ounces brandy, dark/spiced rum, or congnac

    • Brandy is the most traditional option

    • Bourbon can also be used in a pinch

  • Warm spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1


In a lowball glass, mix together ice, brandy, and eggnog.



Step 2


Garnish with ground cinnamon and/or nutmeg to taste.



Step 3


Sip liberally until the warmth in your tummy spreads to your nose and your toes!
