Luke Hollenbeck, IAABC-CCBC, KPA-CTP, FFCP-Trainer

Owner, Blissful Cat Behavior Consulting

Luke is the proud founder of Blissful Cat Behavior Consulting, based in Owings Mills, Maryland. He's a certified cat behavior consultant through the IAABC, a certified training partner with the Karen Pryor academy, and a Fear Free certified trainer. His training and behavior modification techniques focus on setting cats and their caregivers up for success.

Luke is committed to science-based positive reinforcement training techniques using the least inhibitive, functionally effective (LIFE) model. If you're lucky enough to know Luke personally (as we do) you know he's not only passionate about facilitating meaningful connections between cats and their people, he is also a fervent animal rights advocate and vegan who cares profoundly for the well being of every animal, regardless of species, breed, temperament, or behavior. Luke walks the walk.

Luke began his career working at a local veterinary clinic shortly after graduating high school. What started as a part time job walking and feeding dogs, soon became a lifelong journey toward caring for all animals in need. Luke worked in general practice veterinary medicine for 5 years before focusing his efforts in animal behavior. Luke was a beloved member of the Animal Behavior Wellness Center team, working under Dr. Amy Pike for 4 years before starting his own company. We miss you, Luke!

When Luke isn't helping others, he's likely hanging out with his own cherished cats, Daoloth and Walden, watching movies, cooking vegan food, listening to shoegaze music, and attending local shows.
